the healing hill

Your Holistic Retreat

and healing sanctuary

The Healing Hill offers you
a haven of peace.

The self-catering kitchens are equipped with crockery and cutlery, and small ovens and pots and pans but there are no microwaves in the rooms. Should you not feel like cooking or going out, The Cauldron Cafe will be happy to serve you from our small but nutritious Vegan menu. You have your own private braai area should you wish to cook meat Bushveld style! You will also find fresh drinking water, the culinary basics like spices, tea and such in each room! We grow some of our own products but the rest source locally, to not only support our communities but also to bring you homegrown freshness!

We have 2 double rooms and one single room. The double rooms are separate buildings and have self-catering facilities, a dining table, a private outside sitting area, a couch, a shower, basin and toilet in one, as well as a separate space for a third person to sleep!

From the back there is a spectacular view of Tshabalala Trust, and in the very far distance, you can see what could be the edge of Kruger Park! This is a perfect lookout place to pull out the telescope and track the stars of the Southern Hemisphere as they move across the night sky! Sit back under the glowing African moonlight and contemplate your space and place and time in this vast and glorious Universe!

The Healing Hill runs on solar energy and is protected by CCTV, dogs, snakes,  prayers, muti, crystals, spells and armed response! There is also secure fenced parking at the front and back of the Guest House. There can only ever be a maximum of 7 guests at a time, or 3 separate parties, meaning that we are well within the limits imposed by Level 1 social distancing! Strict infection control measures are adhered to in the clinic and all the common areas. Each room is equipped with its own sanitiser and cleaning utensils!  Each person will be given a bath towel, hand towel and swimming towel during their stay! Extra blankets are and spare linen is available for each room if the need  arises

The lounge and lapa have separate sitting areas and therefore there is ample room for guests to gather together within the prescribed lockdown restrictions should the communal spirit prevail! Talking to strangers can be very enlightening and has been known to give a fresh perspective to an otherwise blinkered view on life!
